Monoprint

Hey!
I experimented with several printing techniques. Have you ever tried out monoprinting? I printed on paper first and then I tried it with fabric (organic of course). It was so much fun to try out something new. I showed the final pieces at the KKV Göteborg during  Konstrundan I Majorna 2017. Have a look:

You can take a look at the project on Behance too.

I printed on  heavy ecru organic cotton (300g/m2). Every print is a unique piece and I just love them. I want to set up a web shop for the cushion covers but it it difficult to sell them. I will try again! They are made with care, love and passion. If you are interested in one of them, don´t hesitate to contact me :)

Konstrundan i Majorna 2015

Hej! I will participate in the Konstrundan i Majorna! I live in Majorna and I am really happy to join. It was an spontaneous idea, I am a member of the Konstnärernas Kollektivverkstad in Götebörg and they asked me if I want to be a part of it. You will meet me in the textile department on the 4th floor! It' s a great place! Come by if you are around. A little preview of my creative output of the last 2 weeks:

DIY PRINT CUSHION COVER

Hello there! Here is another simple print project. If you don' t have equipment for screen printing at home you can use this easy method to print a beautiful cushion cover. Everyone can print!

 What you need:
fabric
screen print colour (white opaque)
tape
sponge

Instructions :
1)  Stick the tape on the fabric, you can use any simple geometric form.Press the tape, so you make clear that there will be no colour under it.
2) Take the sponge and apply the colour. The colour should be quite thick; opaque colours can be used on dark fabric (it covers perfectly).
3) Take the tape away and let the colour dry. Now you can fix the colour with an iron.

Black and White II

Hej! I finished my new portfolio lately. A lot of black, white and grey. I love colours, but I needed a challenge and I wanted to keep it it simple. The portfolio was a lot digital editing and it made me tired to just sit by the computer. So at home I printed and painted to get a feeling for colour, structure and texture. I want to print a black & white collection for Nordic Design Collective. It took me some time to find organic cotton and I even thought about printing on cotton that is not ecofriendly. Second thought: No way!

Here you can see some of my test prints:

I will tell you more about my little containers soon. I would love to produce the Big Bag in a larger quantity, but it is not possible yet. It is a great bag, you can put a lot of stuff in it ;)

Say hello

A very simple greetingcard-print-project. You need some blank cards and envelopes, a round stamp (linoleum, you can buy them ready made) and an ink-pad. I also had some neonstickers left...

Choose 3 colours and print your own little collection.Send them to friends and family. Just say hello!
